First, I work with a small church (about 100 people). We need a
database to handle basic information like name, address, family
members, joined church birthdate and etc.
We really don't need to use something elaborate. I've already
suggested a free solution but they'd rather get a low cost commercial
solution. Mind you, the app has to be easy for non computer saavvy
users.
Thanks in advance!

Access ships with several database templates, have you tried them?

Yes, I did. They just want a commercial application rather than
someone building one from scratch. The idea is, not to be too reliant
on one person. They did this, before and the guy left.
They just couldn't keep calling the guy whenever something needed done.
Hence, the need for a commercial app.

I went to http://www.tucows.com/search and typed in Church. There were
7 hits. See if any meet your needs.
100 people?
WAB (Windows Address Book)?
I think it will fit seamlessly with Office Apps.
It's pretty low cost.
Outlook Express can use it for e-mail addresses.
Non-Computer-Savy Users will make the decision? God moves in
mysterious ways.
Membership Plus is a popular database app for churches. http://www.quickverse.com/shopfiles/default.asp
