When a form doesn't update a table, it's usually because it's based on a
non-updatable query.
Two common reasons a query can be non-updatable are incorrect joins and the
inclusion of aggregate functions.
Try running the query by itself, and see if it's updatable.
If that doesn't provide an "AHA" moment, post the SQL for the query here...

Hi all,
I have a form based on a filtered query, which filters the orders
table for all expenses. The problem is, I cannot update the orders
table with my form, is there another way around this?
Basically, the orders table tracks all money going in and out, whether
it be an expense or a sale. The reason I didn't create a seperate
expenses table is because I need to track both sales and expenses on
the same report.
