DAO 3.5x is designed to work with JET 3.5, so you use it in Access 97.
DAO 3.6 is designed to work with JET 4, so you use this library in Access
2000 and later.
You are likely to end up with some strange behavior if you don't use the
right version for your version of Access. For example, if you convert an
Access 2000 database back to A97 and don't manually change the DAO library
back to 3.51, you will have problems.
