Won't let me remove tables

I installed the sample CD from Viescas book, "Running MS Access 2000".
Somehow, in the process of installing the files, it also installed a
bunch of tables with weird names like MSysACEs, MSAccessObjects, etc
into the database I've been working on! And to add insult to injury, it
won't let me remove them. It keeps telling me I don't have rights to
remove these tables. I've tried to go into the security dialog box
(using Access help and Viescas' book) and change things, but now matter
what I try to change, even when logged on as "Admin", it tells me I
don't have permission to do anything. Do I have to recreate my database
from scratch? Does anyone know how to get rid of these obnoxious
tables?
Was very happy with this book until now. Obviously, they didn't do
their homework on the install routine. Don't know how it would go in
and put a bunch of tables into my database. I'm not happy at all with
John Viescas and MS Press.

Hello,

the tables are systemtables needed by access to maintain it's objects
(tables, forms etc.).
You can turn this "feature" of in Menu "Extras/Options/View?
Disable System Objects
