Access 97, XP and 3170 Couldn't find installable ISAM

I have installed Access 97 at least 100 times or more without problem on
W98 and W2000 without any problems.

I have my regular options that I tick, including all the Data and
conversion options.

For the first time I have installed on a new Dell PC with XP SP2 and I
get the above error when trying to import/export files that require the
ISAM routines.

I have un-installed, re-installed, deleted all Access/Office registry
keys I could find at least 5 times in various permutations but to no
avail.

I would go back to W2000 but I think these latest GX620 machines may not
have appropriate drivers.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Me thinks you need a file named mstext35.dll.

That was indeed it. I did it in a slightly different way but it now
works.

It looks like there was an old version of mstext35.dll that Access
would/could not delete when I un-installed.

I will know for next time.

Thanks.
