Set and restore permissions using VB?

Hello,

I have a "data" database with read only tables that need minor data
modification at times. These modifications / updates are on items that the
user should not have access to other than read only permissions.

Is there an easy way to be able to change permissions using simple code
(i.e. no additional references)? I've tried to use the example that
Microsoft provides in the help file, but I get a "User defined type not
defined" for the ADOX.Catalog, and I'd really like to stay away from
additional references. Hopefully someone could provide something a little
more "friendly".

Thanks!
