Tossing someone off of the internet.

Bob
In another forum, I've ticked someone off really bad!!!
They've responded with a neat little bomb which, if I
attempt to log-in to the site, throws me completely
out of the internet. Neat trick! Just out of idle
curiousity, does anyone know how a thing like this might work.

Thanks, Craigo

Not the best place to ask such a question.

Sorry Bob, did I tick you off too?
Actually, I'm impressed with the
technology. It's pretty neat.

I'm not sure how that works, but I know in my office when you do something
really stupid in Access they punish you by automatically connecting your
machine to this newsgroup and make you spend two hours reading stupid posts
from stupid people.

They can automatically toss you off the internet?
That is indeed a neat trick. I've been connected to the internet for past 2
hours and have so far not even been able to toss myself off. Perhaps I've
been visiting the wrong sites.

To explain: (1) The site opens. (2) When the userID/password (from a
cookie) is detected, the browser shuts down, effectively throwing the
user 'off the internet', i.e. the user is back at their desktop, with
no browser running.
Perhaps not the best choice of terms, but it's an interesting trick.
