You have a calculated field. You have a field that isn't calced. You
want to store the value of the CalcField into the NonCalcField? Is that
correct? If so....

Create both calced/non-calced fields in the form. Maybe set the visible
property to false on the non-calced field. Then, in the BeforeUpdate
event of the form, enter something like
Me.NonCalcedField = Me.CalcedField
using the names that you've assinged to the controls.

basically i m working on a stationary database..i hve made 5 table
which are department, product, supplier, prod issued (to deptt.),prod
recieved (from supplier).i hve made many to many relation among these
table..wat i want is to store the value in PRODUCT table wid the field
name QUANTITY(basically it must store the present qnty of product
available).
so i have made a form which hve the entries of two tables dat are PRO
ISSUED and PRO RECIEVED or making two seprate forms for each table..i
tried using expression builder to add the qnty of product when i
recieve them from suppliers..and to subtract when issued to
deptt...this value after being calculated must be stored in the table
of PRODUCT in a field of AMOUNT..thanx 4 rplying ..
