How do I determine if a number that was entered contains a decimal point?
Data type is Single.

You can get the fractional part of the number by

=Number - Fix(Number)

Cast it to an integral number and see if it's the same.e.g.

?clng(3.5) = 3.5
False

?clng(3) = 3
True
