We have more and more clients asking if we can use Active Directory in
our security for our Access applications (both Jet and SQL). Does anyone
have any experience with this and can point me to some useful
information? Particularly in using Active Directory when giving users
access when using an SQL backend....
To complicate things a little.....
At this stage I use stored procedures called from the client to create
new users (one for SQL users and another to create Windows domain
users). The sp also adds the user to a table as we're tying the login to
an employee record to enable row-level security (ie. managers only see
who they manage as defined by a table).
