How to access data from a subform

ken
Say you have a parent form and a child form. How can the parent get the
childs recordset...I tried to do sometihng like this from the
afterupdate event of a field in the parent form:

Dim rs As ADODB.Recordset
Set rs = Forms!Parent_Form!Child_Form.RecordsetClone

Then I was hoping to search the rs recordset.

Thanks

That approach should work....

From the parent form....

Set rs = Me![SubFormControlName].Form.Recordsetclone ?
