user defined error

Hi
If I try to use the present value (pv) I get a user defined error. Must I
set a library reference to use the function ?
Dim set as per MS help

PVal = PV(APR, TotPmts, -YrIncome, FVal, PayType)
Thanks alfred

I just tried the example given in the A2K help with only the default
references. Worked fine.
