Hi Terry,
First you didn't explain what netzero was. A quick search on google gave me
the answer, it's an ISP. After looking at their web site I found out that
they offer an ad-supported free service. If you don't want them to place ads
on your computer, cancel your account with them, change to a pay account or
change providers.
You might have a better chance at asking for advice in a newsgroup that
specialises in batch files, or Windows XP. I don't know exactly which group
to point you to but that might give you an idea where to look.
Jeff
p.s. By the way, I'd never, I mean NEVER sign up to anything, including an
ISP, which places ads on my computer.

I use netzero and they are always downloading ads on my computer. I've
found where they are stored and the file names. I'd like to write a few lines
that would delete these files when I start or shutdown my computer. I can I do
this using windows XP. It would also be great if I could create a desktop
shortcut to make it work also. Any ideas???
Thanks in advance "T"
