Option Group: Values only nummeric, how to perform for all characters?

I created an Option Group (go to Design View > Toolbox) and want the
values to be filled in a present table.

How to make it possible that not only nummeric values can be given, but
also names?

Bart

An Option Group's value can only be a Number.
To store the Number value in a table, bind the Option Group to a field
in the table.

To display a text equivalent to the number, you can use an unbound
control in a form or report.
Set the control's control source to:
=Choose([OptionGroupName],"Text1","Text2",Text3")

You can also use an IIf() statement:
=IIf([OptionGroupName]=1,"Text1",IIf([OptionGroupName]=2,"Text2,"Text3))
