access 97 and 2003 installed on same computer.....problems

P: n/a
I have both installed on win2000.
97 works fine until I run 2003.
then when I try to run 97 I get out of memory, please close some programs and
try again...this is from cold boot.
I install 97 again and it works until I again open a 2003 database...after that
same error.

has anyone delt with this type of thing in the past.
ps this has been going on for a little over a week ..... but I have been using
this machine and setup for a year now.
thanks for any help

I am interested in responses you get. I have A97 and A2000 on Windows
ME. Whenever I run A97, A2K takes a while to come up, but it works
OK. In contrast, if I run A2K, I can immediately shut it down and run
A97. I've never had to reinstall either. But I may have to install a
later version of Access (beyone A2K) and I am concerned I may begin to
have your problems. Pete

I've never had any problems at all with Access 97 and Access 2003 on Win XP
Home SP2 (nor on Win XP Home SP1 before that). They'll even run
concurrently.
