To brows to a folder or file

Dear reader,

For browsing to a file in a folder I am familiar with two windows, one with
the following options on the left side of the window:

· My Recent Documents
· Desktop
· My Documents
· Computer....
· My Network Places

And the other one with the following options on the left side:

· History
· My documents
· Desktop
· Favorites
· My Network Places

In my applications always the first one pups up but I prefer the second one.

I think this has something to do with "Comdlg32.ddl".

Is there anyone who can help me to open the first window for browsing to a
file.

Thanks for any help.
Kind regards,

What application? Windows would, I should think, be consistent in
displaying the same interface time after time after time. In what app
is your fileopen displaying the above? Windows? Or a custom app?

See my link. I thought you wanted the second.
