Updating Table records

As a distributor of products ....... I have a table which includes my
CostPrice. CostPrice is used in various queries, forms and reports. My
supplier ups my price by 5%. I can use a query to calculate
NewPrice:[CostPrice]*1.05.

What is the best/accepted method of geting the value of NewPrice into the
CostPrice field for the queries, forms and reports to continue to function
as before?

Thanks

Use an update query.

"Update <table name> SET <table name>.CostPrice = " & <table
name>.CostPrice * 1.05 & ""

The query can be executed via code (if you need to automate it) or just
manually run.
