An array of controls :-)

e.g. place several textboxes onto a form, all with the same name but a
different index and use them like any array.
and can I utilize them in
Access 97?

Nope, no version of Access supports them AFAIK, VB only. You can
simulate it e.g. have textboxes called text1, text2, etc.

for i=1 to 5
Debug.print Me.Controls("Text" & i).Value
next
