reading video properties from A97

Hi,
is there an sample out, how to read the properties and the tags of a
video from A97?
I guess that this is much more difficult than to read the tags of
mp3-files as there are a lot of different codecs out.

some object, some application perhaps, that does this for you. Sorry,

Yes, I believe that the Media Player is using the shmedia.dll to
retrive that information.
But I can't find any information about the dll.
(declares, procedure calls etc.)
