Hello,
I am having an issue when I try to automate Access.
When working in the automated application, it seems that all warning
messages have been disabled and error handling in reports doesn't work.
For example, when I go to delete an object such as a form or report, I
get no confirmation of any kind...it either works or it doesn't
(doesn't work if I have the report open).
Also, if there is an error when the report runs (like an error in the
query syntax or something of that sort) normally you would get a
message and/or the OnError event of the report would be triggered. But
when I've created the application through automation, the error message
does not appear and the OnError event is not triggered.
I tested opening the exact same database normally through access and
everything functioned normally.
I also tried running "DoCmd.SetWarnings True" after the application had
been created through automation with no success.
Does anyone have any insight into this issue? It would be much
appreciated. If it matters, I am using an ADP.
Thanks.
Matt
