Delegates in MDE File

I have an Access database with a class module called AttachmentManager.
This object encapsulates "attaching" files to the database (it makes a
copy of the file, puts it in an attachments directory, and stores a
file name in a table that references the new copy of the file in the
attachments directory.)

Anyway, the AttachmentManager has two properties: lstbox and
cmdbutton, which are meant to be delegates from any form where you want
to use this functionality. It works perfectly in my MDB file.

Code sample:
..
..
Private WithEvents lstbox As ListBox 'Ref to listbox
Private WithEvents cmdbtn As CommandButton 'Ref to openfile
..
..
Property Set ListBox(ByRef value As ListBox)
Set lstbox = value
End Property

Property Set CommandButton(ByRef value As CommandButton)
Set cmdbtn = value
End Property
..
..
..

When I convert this to an MDE, it quits working. I have no idea why
because you can't enter debug mode or anything else in the MDE because
the source code is simply not in the file as I understand it (correct
me if I'm wrong.)

The MDE actually runs noticibly faster than the MDB version, and I
would like to go this route (not to mention all the protection MDEs
give you generally). However, if MDE's don't support delegates, then I
can't.

Anybody experienced this before???

TIA,
Johnny Meredith
