If I remember correctly, the Jpeg Image is actually inserted as an OLE
object. Therefore you must have an Image/Paint/Draw program capable of
functioning as an OLE Server and registered to handle this file type.
Prior to Office 2003, Microsoft Photo Editor was the app of choice for
this duty. Perhaps your file associates for the Jpeg image type have
been taken over by another application you have installed. When you
double click on a Jpeg file what applications opens up to allow you to
edit the file?

Has anyone tried this? My application is used by schools that run a
dinner and need to typeset journal ads. We've been able to allow
setting of font type etc. but would also like to allow insertion of a
graphic such as business logo. So far all we get is "Jpeg Image"
showing on screen & printing out.
