I am working along in my database (which I have been creating). I am

ideas?
Did you get a message from the Access Gods? Did they tell you why "it
won't accept anymore"?
Shall we guess? My guess is that you left the application open, perhaps
minimized, while you had your break. When you came back, you opened
another instance of the application; your first instance had the table
open in design view, or it had the table opened exclusively. This
prevented the second instance from entering data.
But this is a GUESS and has a very small chance of being correct. Surely
there was some error message, and surely you could tell us what that was?
BTW, there are many better guessers in here than I. I can't rid myself
of "Well, of course no one would do THAT!" syndrome. "Well, of course no
one would do THAT!" is never true. My brain knows this but my heart over
rules my brain.
