Using A Dynamic Connection String for Access Pass Through Queries.

Here's the issue. Appreciate any help any Access gurus can offer.

I have a .NET WinForms application that needs to launch a Access DB
application used for generating Access Reports. That part is no
problem.

However, this Access app is using Pass Through Queries to SQL for these
reports. I know that we can hard code a connection string for these
pass through queries to get at this data but I am needing this
connection string to be dynamic i.e. passing the connection string to
Access when it is launched or programmatically retrieving the
connection string from within access when it is launched.

Any ideas? Much appreciated!

Pass the connect string during the launch. How to do that depends on
how you're launching:
* If running msaccess.exe, use the /x command line argument.
* If using automation, call a public function through the automation
interface.
