ODBC problem with Access97/SQL Server2000

Hi,

I have a situation wher I have an Access 97.mdb with tables linked from SQL
Server 2000.

I have no problem opening the table via MS Access and viewing/modifying the
data.

When I attempt to do the same thing via an Access 97 form using the table as
the Recordsource, I receive an ODBC error.

Other Tables linked to other forms work fine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
SB.

I very vaguely recall a situation that required linked tables to have
the links refreshed under certain conditions. Sorry, but I cannot
remember exactly what the conditions were. The links in question were
to an AS400.

It depends on what the ODBC error was. What was it?

There are some, reported, non-compatibility issues between Acc97 & SQL'r
2000. I don't know the exact issues, but when I've connected between
Acc97 & SQL'r 2000 I usually have to ensure there is a TIMESTAMP data
type column in the SQL'r tables.

Also, Acc97 can't decipher Decimal data types - displays #Error# instead
of the numbers.
