I got a new gig today

DFS
Short-term. It's basically automating some monthly and quarterly TPS
reports http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?TpsReports

Oh well. It pays the bills.

I just think it's cool that I'm not the only person who frequents both
comp.databases.ms-access and c2.com.

I must say, I've seen Office Space (great film)... now then... what is a
TPS report? (I found 64 meanings at acronymfinder).

LOL! I don't think they ever defined them in the movie. They probably just
chose TPS randomly. But it was a funny scene!

Their generic acronym probably stands for the equally generic "Transaction Processing System".

I would bet more than 80% of large companies have a "Transaction Processing System". :)
