Select Query in VBA

What is the code in VBA to

Dim emp_no[10] as number
dim dept_name as String
Select empno from emp
I would like to execute the query and then put the result into local
array.

hello,
[imho] u should use CurrentDb.Execute strSQL for querying empno.
how to put result into local array? :-|

Depending on the technology you are using:

1. Use the ADO GetRows function. This will require that you
use ADODB. Here's an page that gives an example:

2. Create the recordset, then loop through it. This is
slower, but does require that you use ADO.

I would vote for the first option, but your mileage may
vary!
