Thanks for your quick reply

The report is complex and I doubt I have the ability to successfully
write it to word and maintain the formatting. While rtf format loses
some of the formatting in this instance it provides a useful
directory. I have found it difficult to find a good guide to what
items can be automated and what can't in Word and would appreciate any
help. Budget restraints don't allow a library of reference books and I
have to glean what I can from examples and what I can find on the net.
