error "3343 Unrecoginized database"

I have upgrade a 97 access database to 2003. I have a vb6 front end that I
am trying to connect to the database. I am getting the "3343 Unrecognized
database" error. I checked the references and made sure that they are all
matching. Does anyone have any advise on ow i can fix this -- Thanks

Hey you. 8)

I don't use VB6, but I do recall in my first days of A2003 something
like this happpening.

Have you checked to see if the the backend can be opened by A2003 after
the conversion? That at least will rule out a conversion gone badly.
If it works, then hopefully the VB 6 folks here can help.
