Datasheet form - change column width, with a twist!

P: n/a
I have searched this NG for datasheet column width posts and have read
many of them. None of them seem to address what I would like to do.
I'm beginning to think what I want can't be done. Here is what I would
like:

I have a datasheet form with five columns. The third column is a
combobox with two visible columns. The final displayed value and bound
column is column 1. The width of the third datasheet column is wide
enough to see the column 1 values but not the column 2 values of the
combo dropdown. The user is forced to scroll to the right to see the
2nd column. I would like to resize the width of the datasheets third
column on the combo OnEntry event so that both columns of the dropdown
are visible without scrolling. Then on the combo OnExit event, size
the column back to its original width. I have found no way to do this.
The Me.cboMyList.ColumnWidth property is not available when the form
is a datasheet; it is when it is a continuous form. Setting the Width
property of the combobox has no effect either in code or in the forms
design mode. Using a continuous form is not what I want to do.

Any help would be appreciated.

Change the ComboBox's List Width property to something larger/other than
"Auto."

Thank you! Although not exactly what I was describing, it was exactly
what I wanted!
