Hi there, i have a little problem and i'm not sure how to solve it.
I'll do my best to explain it to you.
My DB is almost finished but my boss want me to add somethings.
My job is to follow the repair process of handheld computer (HHC).
The person fills up a demand to repair their HHC, send a copy with the
HHC to a company, that send us a notice for how much they think it will
cost, after that:when they have finally repair it they send us back a
final notice of what was the problem, how much it actually cost...
All the forms r done: 1 repair form, 1 notice, 1 final notice.
what i want to do is to find a way i could follow the process of the
repair.
what i want to do:
I want to be able to find a HHC that i send to the repair office.I
would like to have a list of the broken one...with infos on each of
them like: when did i send them for repair, serial number, who broke
them stuff like that(these info r already in the form)
right now i use the date and the serial number of the HHC for most of
my link, since a HHC can broke numbers of time.
i would like something like in a video club. for people who forget to
return their movies. Except that i dont want a list of DVDs, but HHC's.
I would like to be able to select 1 HHC that is in repair and see if it
has been check (first notice) and when the repair is made it removes it
from the list.
I fill the repair form, and the people doing the repair fill the
invoices.
any ideas.. or maybe other system doing it, like a video store.
