Can someone tell me what is wrong with this simple query syntax?

P: n/a
INSERT INTO tblCR ( Balance )
WHERE (([tblCR].[CR_Trans_No]=2));

I want to update the [Balance] field of tblCR in the unique
record in which tblCR's [CR_Trans_No] keyfield value is 2.

When trying to run this query, an error message tells me...
"Query input must contain at least one table or query"
I don't understand. How can I accomplish what I want to do?

So sorry. I figured it out...

UPDATE DISTINCTROW tblCR SET tblCR.Balance = GetLastClientID()
WHERE ((tblCR.CR_Trans_No=2));
