You have a point. My terminology was wrong. I am uning ODBC. I already do
have tables linked to AS400 by DSN. the problem is that every time the
first table is opened, I'm prompted for a username and password. That's
what I'm trying to avoid. The same settings for the DSN can be put into a
connection string, but I just can't seem to get to get the syntax.
