REPOST: Access 2000 runtime and record-level locking

[Just reposting as I'm sure someone must know about locking behaviour using
the Access 2000 runtime...]
I use the Access 2000 MSI Wizard from Sagekey and they don't know if the bug
documented on page 32 of the Access 2000 Developer`s Handbook Volume 2:
Enterprise Edition still affects the runtime.

Apparently page locking is invoked when using the Access run-time record
than record-level locking. This also affects Access 2000 but if you patch
Access the bug is fixed. I really don't know about the runtime though.

Does anyone know if databases using the Access 2000 runtime default to
page-level locking?
thanks
Martin

Since the runtime uses the exact same executable as the full retail version
(it's simply crippled through hundreds of registry entries), I would assume
that the default would be the same for both. I'm afraid that I don't know
this for a fact, though.

Sagekey said they're program simply wraps around the Access runtime. So I'm
not certain that patching Access would do anything to the runtime. It would
be a real pity if the runtime lumbered me with page-level locking.
