Problem printing Memo field

I have a field, data type Memo, in a job details table. I have a text box on
a report which I need to print the contents of this field. My problem is
that the text box will only display 255 characters. How can I get the report
to print this field completely.

Thanks for any help out there.

Query must not have DISTINCT (at all) or GROUP BY (on the memo field).

Report cannot sort or group on the memo field and cannot have a format
property assigned to the control for the memo field.

Access 97 used to simply disallow these things. In A2K and above they
"improved" it so that is accomodates those things by doing a
Left([FieldName], 255) in the background.

Sometime ago I was able to successfully group on a memo field in Acc97. I
believe that in the QBE grid you do something like this:

TestField:iif(Len(CStr([MemoField]))=0,"No Text",CStr([MemoField])))

You may need to play around with this but I seem to remember that it
worked. By converting the memo field's value to a string it should allow
the GroupBy to work. Someone else here may be able to verify this?

Hope this helps!
