Access 2K Error on combo boxes

Hi Folks,

I have a combo box on a multi-record form. About every other time I
select something from the STATIC list of options, I get this result:

What on earth is the cause of this error message?

---------------------------
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
---------------------------
Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more
information.

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I have NEVER had this problem before. The error is intermittent and
ONLY happens when I use this particular combo box. I recently changed
the combo box contents from being driven by a query on the actual
table contents for that field to being driven by a query on a static
table of options. I have no trouble with other combo boxes.

Anyone have a clue why this is happening?

Thanks for all responses.

Cheers!
