Access requires deleted table

hi folks,
in the course of my Access project (ACC2000) I created a temporary
table which I deleted after it was no longer needed. now, each time I
start Access, I am getting annoyed with the message : ...cant find
table xyz. make sure the table exists...
the temporary table was a local one, not attached. there is nowhere a
reference to this table.
sure, I could keep the table as a dummy, so the message won't come up.
but that's not a very proper solution...
any suggestions?

thanx for your help, Helmut

Strange --- are you sure you have no reference to that table in the
autoexec macro or startup form? In that case your db must be damaged.
Try decompiling it or import everything into a new db.

Check for a reference to this table in your startup form. I had this happen
to me recently and found it hiding in the query to a combo box.
