Access Deployment problem in Uninstall

I deployed an Access 2003 app on a network after using the Developer's
extensions. Things are fine except when I try to uninstall the app.

I did the install from a temporary network directory which was purged
before I could uninstall the app. So all the .msi files were gone.
When I try to remove from the "add remove programs" of Win 2000 I get a
message that the <appname>.msi file is missing.

I tried redeploying the app to reproduce the .msi files. I can't
redeploy to the original PC since I get the error "app already exists".
Instead I deployed on another networked PC. The .msi file was on the
network but "Remove" wouldn't recognize it as the correct one.

Any help?

Thanks

Bill

Hi Bill,
I recently had something similair happen to one of my customers.
They installed my application on a Windows 2000 Server and then
upgraded to Windows 2003 Server. They then needed to uninstall the
program and re-install it, but they could not get it uninstalled. I
told them to download and install the Windows Registry Cleanup Utility
and that did the trick. You can get it from here:

Hope this helps.
