Table properties

Pretty basic question: I've got a table relating file numbers (ECPs)
to fiscal years (FY). I need to be able to relate multiple unique FYs
to the same ECP. Right now, the table lets me put in multiple FYs for
one ECP, but it automatically changes all of the FYs to whatever the
most recent FY I related to that ECP. Is there something in the
properties of the table that I can change to fix this?
Thanks

"I need to be able to relate multiple unique FYs to the same ECP"
FY---(M,1)---ECP

So you have two tables, ECP and FY, and they have a 1-M relationship.
(SO the PK of ECP is a foreign key in FY, right?) If that's the case,
you should be able to just create a subform based on the FY table and
drop it into the ECP form.

If the relationship is
FY---(M,M)---ECP

then you need a junction table with the primary keys of the two tables.
And then separate main forms for both FY and ECP.
