server.scripttimeout for ASP

Hi
I am trying to use the server.scriptimeout for my asp code for sending
the mails to my 1000 odd subscribers

But after approx 150 records the script gives an error... saying pls
reset the server timeout properties

-----------
Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'

Script timed out

/atl/temp1.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You
can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property
Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration
tools.
--------------------------

tried changing the propertty to 300 also, but still get struck at aprox
150 records

also tries this thing... chk from google grps
---
By default ASP.NET is set to recycle if any given response takes longer

than 3 minutes to process. You can modify this by changing the
responseDeadlockInterval attribute of the <processModel> tag in the
machine.config file. This file is located in the following directory:
%windows root%/Microsoft.Net/Framework/*v1.0.3705/CONFIG/
If you have pages that need longer than 3 minutes to process, change
this
setting to be greater or equal to the desired increment and then
configure
the scripttimeout as needed.
-----

this also does not work

Pls help...
