Subscription site with Access db

Hello,

I'm using an access db for a site that I want to make subscription. The
subscription will be by the month and auto recurring if the member wants it
to or expire after the month is up.

I have the database set so the public can enter and view the pages but some
activity on th epages is restricted. In the database interactivity is
determined by a field called "MemberStatus". If it is set to 1 then they
have complete access, if set to 0 it is limited.

What I want to know is what type of merchant account will accomodate this
type of setup so that the merchant account will automatically update the
database when the month has passed, or wrtie in the new users data when a
new account is created. I have looked at some but they use .htaccess and I
don't think this will work as it seems to only allow access or not to
certain pages or directories and isn't database dependant.

Does anyone know of any merchant account services that can interact with
site owner databases, or suggest a better method for this type of thing?

Thanks,
David

Paypal does.
Any of them that use http://www.authorize.net/
should work.

Check around, you might find scripts already dne.

Thanks for the link DC, although there doesn't seem to be any info on that
site about interacting with the clients database.
