Can't get PDF to open from hyperlink field in database form

I want to be able to open a PDF using a hyperlink field in an Access
2003 form. If I add a Word .DOC file it opens fine. BUT if I try a PDF
it looks like Acrobat opens briefly and then closes. I am running
Acrobat 6.0 (full version) and Acrobat Reader.

Thanks.

Ken

Something to do with Adobe Reader 7.0...I zipped up the Reader .EXE as
I do not have admin privileges and it loads the PDF in Acrobat 6.0 VERY
slowly but it loads.

I'd very much like an answer to this too because I'm seeing the same
behavior. Again, Adobe Reader 7.0. It works fine on all of my clients
with 6.0 but they're now starting to load 7.0 and this is showing up.
Anyone else?

Just a follow-up on this because it's a fairly new problem that will
probably hit a few others in the near future: This is a known bug in
Adobe Acrobat/Reader 7.0. Adobe released a patch that addresses it on
March 14 (day before yesterday). The patch can be found at
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...jsp?ftpID=2713.
