You'd have to delete the old object before importing the new object.
When you import a new object w/ the same name as an old object, the new
object name has a number added as a suffix. E.g.:
Old: T
New T_1
"Module" refers to the VBA module objects. Is that what you're
referring to when you say module?

Thanks. I have another question. Since the updates are on-going, I
have to delete those old modules before I import the new updates.
Would it be possible that I set it up to overwrite the old module when
the TransferDatabase is executed?
Thanks.

We have a vendor access package and I am adding query and report
modules to
it. An icon was created to display a popup menu to list these
report
printing options.
The added queries and reports are stored at a separate MDB and
currently I
have to manually go to each user computer to IMPORT for updates.
I am thinking is there a way that I can write a program and install
at each
user computer. Each user can click on/run the programs to retrieve
updates
from the separated MDB?
If there is a shell program available, please advise.
Look into the TransferDatabase method of the DoCmd object. You can
use
it to import database objects from other Access files.
