print out a listing of the queries - Name, Description. Mod Dt

P: n/a
Hello,
How would I print out a listing of the queries that are in a database?
I would like to have a spreadsheet style listing with the columns of:
Query Name, Description, Modified Date, Created Date.
Thanks.

Look at the MsysObjects Table (Click on tools> options and show system
objects)

Queries are shown as type "5" in the "type" column. you might see some
other temp queries that begin with the ~ character, but you can filter
those out

Thanks. Is there any way to have the Description included in the
table? Or is there a query I could run against the MsysObjects Table?
I don't know what table would have the Descriptions.

You could run a query against MsysObjects. You can treat it like any
other table except that it is read only.

I do not know where the descriptions are stored.. anyone else know?

Dim obj As AccessObject, dbs As Object
Set dbs = Application.CurrentData
' Search for AccessObject objects in AllQueries collection
For Each obj In dbs.AllQueries
'Properties available - may not all be applicable in this context
' obj.Name
' obj.CurrentView
' obj.DateCreated
' obj.DateModified
' obj.FullName
' obj.IsLoaded
' obj.Parent
' obj.Properties (Index)
' obj.Type
Next obj
