record selector box

How may the following scenario be accomplished?

1 Form
NameField
Subform (with additional Info)

How to make the subform info changes as name field change?
i.e. name field is a combobox with the data link to a list

As soon as user choose a list, (e.g. Q1 2003), the info reflect below
will change automatically to show data in 2003.

Thanks in advance.

Perry,

You can look at the subform's "Subform/Subreport" property sheet. Set
the Link Child and Link Master relationships so that they are linked.
This should change things automatically. Probably the easiest way to go

Alternately, you can base the subform on a query which uses the
NameField as a parameter. Then, in the "after update" property of
NameField, put something like:

Me.Refresh

Or

SubformName.Requery

Haven't tested this, but something like this should work...

I must be doing something wrong... here's more explanation

Form1: NameField (from 1 table) & ID
Subform info (from another table) & ID
Linked by 1-many relationship ID

Now when I change NameField, it is now just updating NameField from
table1. Subform info was not changed.

any insight will be appreciated.

Perry
