Check Box Problem - Microsoft Access / VBA

Hi

I have a table which is imported from an accounting system, the table
has a field called PurBlock. If there is an x in the field there is a
block on the record. I have based a form on this table and would like
a check box to indicate if there is a block on the record. I tried
using =IIf(tblVendors!PBloPurOrg="x",-1,0) but this doesn't work.

Can anyone help?

If the form is bound to the table then no code is needed.
