How do I connect Access database to Excel?

P: n/a
Hi.

I start with my code:

Dim PUTKI As New ADODB.Connection
Dim huon As New ADODB.Recordset

Set PUTKI = CurrentProject.Connection

huon.Open "select * from dbo_2000_huon " & _
"where kiinttunn = " & Range("a1") & _
" and huon_tunnus = " & "'" & Range("a2") & "'" & _
" and huon_numero = " & Range("a3"), PUTKI, adOpenKeyset,
adLockOptimistic

I know that "Set PUTKI..." is not correct, but I do not know what is
correct!

I have an Access database called MyDatabase. I have there a linked
table called huon. I try to get information from huon to excel.

I think the format is something like "connectionstring...", but that
is all I know!

Could you please help me?

Okay, so your goal is to take data from your table and output it to an
existing Excel spreadsheet? Did you try MVPS.org? I know there's code
there for stuff like that. Like transferring data to Excel using a
recordset object etc.
