OLE Object on a Form

I'm trying to display an OLE object (.jpg) linked to a database record on a
form. When the form is displayed, the .jpg image doesn't appear. What
appears are the characters |3| in the space on the form that I designed to
display the image. Anyone have any ideas what this means?
