Sending a report by email and only showing a particular record on that report

P: n/a
I am trying to send a report by email using DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport.
When I send the report, it sends the report with all the records whereas I
only want the report to show one record. I have got around this by linking
the form to the query so that the query returns my one record, but I was
hoping there was a better way of doing it within VBA?

thanks in advance

I'm a bit confused. Are you wanting to find and send a particular record,
or do you just want to send the first record that appears in the report?

For a page on how to print a report for a single record and how to generate reports
to attach to emails see the Emailing reports as attachments from Microsoft Access
