?? TRANSFERDATABASE COMMAND

I have to transfer a DBase file form the A: disk drive.
The File, get external data, import etc accepts the A:drive.
and converts it to an access table.

The docmd.transferdatabase rejects the A:\data.dbf as an invalid path

Use the folder path as the database name, the file name as the source,
and include a table name. For example:

DoCmd.TransferDatabase acImport,"dBase IV","A:\"
,acTable,"data.dbf","newdata"
